This past Saturday evening, Virtual Grand Race not only was a treat for horseracing fans, but also casual viewers.

ITV broadcasted this virtual race that featured 40 runners using CGI Technology and special algorithms and the numbers show it was very successful! The number of spectators is the equivalent of 30% of the UK national television audience.

The initiative was created by a list of Betting & Gaming council members, including Bet365, William Hill, Betway and members of other bookmakers.

Since Tiger Roll was the consecutive winner in 2018 and 2019, he was the favourite of the punters to bet on. However, the winner of the race Potters Corner with a late flurry.

Even though the bet limit was £10 per horse, the real winner was NHS with £2.6 million raised to help UK in the current world situation.
