St. Mirren Hamilton Academical betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

This will be a confrontation between two of the teams with the worst record in the Premiership and, therefore, a direct duel between two direct opponents in the fight to escape relegation. Playing at home, St. Mirren should have strong support in the stands, which could push the team to a positive result, against a highly fragile Hamilton, especially when they play away from home, where so far they have only won once. Due to the difficulties of both teams in the offensive moment, a match is expected, with few goals.

Analysis St. Mirren

The St.  Mirren arrives at this 25th day of the regular Premiership phase with an uneasy walk, in order to guarantee the goal of permanence. With just three more points than Hamilton and Hearts, Paisley's lineup is now nine points away from the top six. On the last day, Jim Goodwin's team got a draw in the visit to Hibernian's stadium (2-2), in a game where it was even St. Mirren to be well positioned to add the three points, fruit of the goals scored very early, by Conor McCarthy (14') and Anthony Andreu (18'). Still, the team would "fall asleep", allowing Hibernian to recover even before the break. It was the third consecutive game without a win for St. Mirren, who had previously lost to Rangers (0-1) and tied with Aberdeen (0-0).

Confirmed Lineup: Vaclav Hladky, Calum Waters, Conor McCarthy, Akin Famewo, Ilkay Durmus, Ryan Flynn, Sam Foley, Anthony Andreu, Cameron MacPherson, Jamie McGrath, Junior Morias.
Coach: S. Robinson.

Analysis Hamilton

Holding the bottom sport of the Premiership qualifying table at this stage, with the same 18 points as Hearts, Hamilton's team seeks, in the final stretch of the regular phase of the championship, to give a different answer from the one they have managed to give so far. In an attempt to get closer to the most direct competitors in the fight for permanence, the team led by Brian Rice will now try to react to the series of three consecutive defeats that started the year 2020, in matches for the championship. After losing to Hibernian (1-2) and Livingston (2-4), they were defeated last sunday while hosting to Celtic (1-4), in a game where everything was more complicated by the expulsion Jamie Hamilton, in the 34th minute, at a time when Hamilton was actually winning. With the game tied a few moments after the expulsion, Hamilton still held the tie well until the final stretch of the game, but the last quarter of an hour turned out to be terrible, with three goals conceded.

Confirmed Lineup: Luke Southwood, Alexander Gogic, Brian Easton, Shaun Want, Scott McMann, Aaron McGowan, Johnny Hunt, Scott Martin, Mikel Miller, David Templeton, Marios Ogboe.
Coach: S. Taylor.
