He has been acting professionally in MMA since 2014, having 17 matches on his record. Of the 17 fights, he emerged victorious on 14 occasions, having been defeated twice and once in the contest. Of all his triumphs, 10 were by knockout and 4 by decision of the judges. The defeats were all by knockout.
 
Blaydes went through events like Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) and his UFC debut happened only in 2016. In his debut, he was defeated by Francis Ngannou. In 2018, in a rematch against the Cameroonian, he was again defeated, thus, his only two career defeats were for the same fighter.
 
Since his defeat in 2018, Blaydes has mended 4 consecutive victories, including against Brazilian Junior Cigano, in January last year. His most recent match took place in June 2020, when he beat Alexander Volkov by unanimous decision of the judges.
 
Razor has been growing more and more within his category, and now he will be looking for another triumph.
 
Derrick Lewis is also an American fighter, he is 36 years old, and like his opponent, he is one of the big names in his category in the UFC.
 
"Black Beast", as he is known, has 32 matches in his cartel, with 24 wins, 7 losses and one no contest. Of their victories, 19 were by knockout, 4 by decision and one by submission. The defeats were 4 by knockout, 2 by decision and one by submission.
 
The American fighter started his professional career in MMA in 2010, through the Worldwide Gladiator, going through events like Bellator and Legacy FC. He debuted in the UFC only in 2014 and went on to win, beating Jack May by technical knockout.
 
In 2019, he was defeated by Brazilian Junior Cigano by technical knockout. However, since then he has mended 3 triumphs in a row. His most recent match took place in August 2020, when he beat Russian Aleksei Oleinik by technical knockout. In addition, with this triumph he broke the UFC heavyweight record with the highest number of knockouts, reaching 11.
 
Now, the Black Beast is looking for their 16th victory inside the UFC, promising to go on top of their opponent for yet another great fight for MMA fans.
